Investigation of Data Dependencies by Dynamic Analysis of Sapfor

Nikita Andreevich Kataev, Alexander Andreevich Smirnov, Andrey Dmitrievich Zhukov
473-493
Abstract: The use of pointers and indirect memory accesses in the program, as well as the complex control flow are some of the main weaknesses of the static analysis of programs. The program properties investigated by this analysis are too conservative to accurately describe program behavior and hence they prevent parallel execution of the program. The application of dynamic analysis allows us to expand the capabilities of semi-automatic parallelization. In the SAPFOR system (System FOR Automated Parallelization), a dynamic analysis tool has been implemented, based on on the instrumentation of the LLVM representation of an analyzed program, which allows the system to explore programs in both C and Fortran programming languages. The capabilities of the static analysis implemented in SAPFOR are used to reduce the overhead program execution, while maintaining the completeness of the analysis. The use of static analysis allows to reduce the number of analyzed memory accesses and to ignore scalar variables, which can be explored in a static way. The developed tool was tested on performance tests from the NAS Parallel Benchmarks package for C and Fortran languages. The implementation of dynamic analysis, in addition to traditional types of data dependencies (flow, anit, output), allows us to determine privitizable variables and a possibility of pipeline execution of loops. Together with the capabilities of DVM and OpenMP these greatly facilitates program parallelization and simplify insertion of the appropriate compiler directives.
Keywords: program analysis, dynamic analysis, semi-automatic parallelization, SAPFOR, DVM, LLVM.

3D Objects Representation for Real-Time Boolean Operations

Ilya Evgenievich Plotnikov, Daniil Ivanovich Kostyuk
484-505
Abstract:

The paper presents a comparative analysis of methods for representing three-dimensional objects to perform real-time Boolean operations in the Unity game engine environment. Four main approaches are considered: polygonal representation based on constructive solid geometry (CSG), sign distance functions (SDF), voxel methods and CAD-systems with boundary representation (B-Rep) and NURBS-surfaces.

An experimental study of the performance of polygonal algorithms of Boolean operations and SDF functions based on ray marching implementation is carried out. It is revealed that polygonal methods are characterized by high initial system construction costs, but provide stable performance during long operations and preservation of transformation results. SDF functions demonstrate high speed of operations and flexibility in creating smooth transitions between objects, but are limited in application for long-term tasks due to the peculiarities of the computational model.

The areas of effective application of each approach are identified: polygonal methods are recommended for tasks requiring precise geometric control and integration with traditional graphics pipelines, while SDF functions are optimal for procedural generation, multilayer material rendering and creation of dynamic visual effects. The results of the study can be used in the development of interactive simulators, game applications and virtual reality systems.

Keywords: boolean operations, 3D modeling, constructive solid geometry, sign distance functions, SDF, Unity, real-time, polygonal meshes, ray marching.

Rustam Arifovich Burnashev, Yaroslav Vladislavovich Sergeev
1015-1035
Abstract:

Growing climate instability is creating new challenges and risks for the resilience of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This article proposes a prototype architecture for a dynamic expert system comprising several key modules: a user interface, a knowledge base, a server application, and a dynamic data update module with real-time APIs. A distinctive feature of the system is the application of Z⁺-number calculus, implemented using the scikit-fuzzy library, which allows for accounting of graded confidence in evaluations. This approach provides more robust and adaptive risk assessments that are sensitive to changes in the quality of input data. Interactive visualization of the results is built upon OpenStreetMap. The system's methodology for self-adaptation of confidence measures based on historical data is described.

Keywords: Z-numbers, fuzzy logic, expert system, uncertainty, climate risks, small and medium enterprises, data visualization, decision making.

Vsevolod Tarasovich Trofimchuk, Vlada Vladimirovna Kugurakova
953-993
Abstract:

This article addresses the problem of creating dynamic narrative systems for video games with real-time interactivity. It presents the development and testing of a GPT integration component for dialogue generation, which revealed a critical limitation of cloud-based solutions – a 30-second latency unacceptable for gameplay. A hybrid architecture of an adaptive system is proposed, combining LLMs with reinforcement learning mechanisms. Particular attention is given to solving the problems of game world consistency and managing long-term context of NPC interactions through a RAG approach. The transition to the Edge AI paradigm with the application of quantization methods to achieve a target latency of 200–500 ms is substantiated. Metrics for evaluating personalization and dynamic content adaptation have been developed.

Keywords: video games, large language models, LLM, dialogue generation, quest generation, adaptive quests, procedural content generation, agent behavior, game AI, machine learning in games.

How the Latest Release Date of Publication is Formed in Bibliographic Reference "On the Fly"

554-565
Abstract:

The scientific work posted on the Internet, which its author constantly keeps up to date, will be called an alive publication. The genre of alive publishing has many attractive features. However, it requires a certain expansion of the composition of the meta-attributes of the publication: along with the traditional attributes, the date of the appearance of the new, fresh edition is brought to the fore here. Such date is placed in a prominent place in the text of the publication. Along with this, it becomes highly desirable to include such a dynamically ("on the fly") generated date in a bibliographic link to an alive publication. The currently used methods of dynamic extraction of this date are considered for a simple online publication, for a publication that has received a DOI through Crossref, and for a publication posted in arXiv.org.

Keywords: alive publication, dynamic component of the bibliographic reference, the latest revision date, Crossref, arXiv.org, Preprints.org.

Marianna Vladimirovna Shmatko, Aleksei Denisovich Miakishev
1705-1739
Abstract:

The paper is devoted to the development and experimental verification of a modular user interface architecture for game projects in Unreal Engine. The study identifies typical UI design antipatterns (monolithic widget structures, hard references, lack of abstraction, platform dependency) and provides an analysis of existing architectural approaches (Data-Driven UI, MVC, MVVM), demonstrating their limitations. The authors propose an architecture that integrates the Common UI framework, an asynchronous loading mechanism with soft references, the Gameplay Tags system, and a data registry for dynamic settings menu generation. The architecture is implemented as the AdvancedGameUserInterface plugin. Its experimental evaluation involving 12 developers and 5 UI designers confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed solution across three key metrics: maintainability, performance, and scalability. Based on the research results, practical recommendations are formulated for applying the developed architecture depending on the scale of the game project. The research findings can be used by developers to improve quality and reduce maintenance costs for user interfaces in game projects on Unreal Engine.

Tatiana Sergeevna Volokitina, Maxim Olegovich Tanygin
187-206
Abstract:

The article is devoted to the development of a scientific and methodological apparatus for improving the effectiveness of protecting digital platforms from cyber threats by creating processing and detection algorithms that take into account the cognitive characteristics of users. A conceptual model of a three-stage protection system is proposed, integrating technical security mechanisms with cognitive decision-making models. A heuristic detection algorithm based on Random Forest machine learning with analysis of 47 features, including technical URL characteristics and cognitive-semantic content characteristics, has been developed. A methodology for dynamic integration of four threat data sources has been created, reducing response time from 12–14 hours to two hours. An algorithm for recursive analysis of redirection chains up to ten levels deep to detect masked threats is proposed. Experimental validation on an empirical base of approximately one million records confirmed detection accuracy of 87% when processing one hundred thousand records per hour. The developed solutions ensure compliance with the requirements of GOST R 57580.1-2017 and Russian legislation in the field of personal data protection.

Keywords: heuristic threat detection, machine learning, cognitive security, phishing attacks, social engineering, data protection, threat source integration.

Abstract:

The paper considers the issues of the computations distributing within one node of a hybrid computing system for applied programs with computation-intense operations. A method is proposed for static distribution of computations, as well as a method for automatic balancing of the computational load during program execution, which is based on periodic analyzing the CPU load by the executed program and making decision to redistribute computational load if necessary. The proposed methods are implemented in an applied program that solves a gas dynamic problem using the computing resources of the multicore central processor and graphics accelerators. The results of program execution with various data distributions were obtained and analyzed, both with and without the mechanism for automatic balancing of the computational load.

Abstract:

A new approach to building geographically distributed information systems based on a multi-agent architecture is proposed. This approach eliminates the rigid unification of protocols and resource cataloging in favor of dynamic integration of data sources. A key element of the system is a verification agent, which verifies the validity of scientific research results through formal control and the use of multiple LLMs. The developed prototype, implemented on the GeologyScience.ru platform, eliminates the shortcomings of the existing AI assistant related to hallucinations and unreliability of information and creates a foundation for accumulating verified knowledge.

Fluctuational Analysis of Distributed Objects Based on Optical Flow

Aleksandr Michailovich Sinitca
415-431
Abstract:

The paper proposes a method for estimating the fluctuation characteristics of distributed objects based on the fluctuation analysis and the assumption that the optical flow estimate is equivalent to random-walk increments. The reliability and applicability of the proposed method are evaluated in two computational experiments. The first experiment analyses the Brownian motion of a compact object. The second evaluates the adequacy of the method for estimating the dynamic characteristics of a spatially distributed fluctuating object. In both experiments, the Hurst exponent has been validated using detrended fluctuation analysis (DFA). The results obtained indicate the applicability of the method and the need to improve its robustness.

Abstract:

The Central Sikhote-Alin Fault (CSAF) is one of the largest tectonic structures in the continental part of the south of the Russian Far East. Its modern geodynamic activity is still very poorly understood, especially by remote sensing methods. The available geological estimates of movements along the CSAR reach several mm/year, however, the available scattered modern geodetic data allow us to state that no displacements exceeding a few mm/year have been detected in the central part of the fault.

In the present work, based on the data of GNSS observations carried out in the first two decades of the 21st century, the first quantitative estimates of the secular (plate) movements of the Earth's crust in the vicinity of the village of Kievka (Primorsky Krai), located at the southern end of the CSAR, are obtained. Also, in the study area, numerical modeling of the effect of geoenvironment disturbances (co- and postseismic displacements) initiated by the catastrophic Tohoku earthquake on March 11, 2011, Mw 9.1, was evaluated and performed. The results obtained are in good agreement with the available models of the earthquake source and models of postseismic viscoelastic relaxation of the geoenvironment.

Keywords: GNSS measurements, coseismic and postseismic displacements, 2011 Tohoku earthquake, Russian Far East.

Cognitive Model for Control of a Peltier Thermoelement

Maksim Vladimirovich Bobyr, Artem Andreevich Aseev
976-997
Abstract:

The article presents an ontological model of a control system for a Peltier thermoelectric element. The ontology describes the structure of the system by identifying objects, transformation processes within these objects, and the attributes of the relationships between them. Based on the developed ontological model, a cascade control system has been designed, integrating a PID controller, a fuzzy-digital filter, and an exponential-averaging filter, with its cognitive behavior governed by fuzzy logic rules. Improvement of the dynamic characteristics of transient processes in the Peltier element control system is achieved through the application of the mathematical and ontological solutions specified in the model. The cascade control system reduces the amplitude of the first harmonic of the control signal by 12% and decreases the transient response time by 31.9%.

Keywords: ontology, fuzzy logic, PID-controller, fuzzy-digital filter, exponential-averaging filter.

Abstract:

The paper discusses the progress in the development of network services and technologies of the geoportal of satellite radiothermovision created by the authors earlier. The initial task of the geoportal was to provide potential users access to the results of the spatiotemporal interpolation of geophysical atmospheric fields. Practical implementation required the implementation of a technology of dynamic generation of processing products. The use of this technology had expanded the range of tasks, and led to the creation of a specialized service of the virtual integration of spatial geodata ICAR (Interactive Calculator for Atmospheric Research). The paper describes the interface and technological principles underlying the ICAR project, discusses some details of software and algorithmic implementation, provides examples of practical applications.

Keywords: geoportal, network services, satellite radiotermovision, interfaces, software and algorithmic implementation.

Situational Modeling Technology in Virtual Environment Systems

Mikhail Vasilievich Mikhailyuk, Dmitry Alekseevich Kononov, Dmitry Mikhailovich Loginov
889-901
Abstract:

The technology of modelling various situations in virtual environment systems, which are computer three-dimensional models of a real or artificial environment, is discussed. The user can view these scenes directly on the computer screen, wall screen, in a stereo glasses, virtual reality glasses, etc. He can also move inside a virtual scene and interact with its objects. In turn, the environment can also change. This allows modelling of various situations (situation modelling) in the virtual environment system. With such modelling, some static or dynamic situation is set in the virtual environment system in which the operator must perform the tasks assigned to him.

A mechanism for setting situations by changing a virtual three-dimensional scene using configuration files and virtual control panels is proposed. A special language has been developed for writing configuration files, and a special editor has been developed for creating virtual control panels. The approbation of the proposed methods is presented on the examples of two virtual scenes: a training ground for mobile robots and a jet backpack for the rescue of an astronaut in outer space.

Keywords: virtual environment system, situational modeling, three-dimensional scene, configuration file, virtual control panels.

Methods of Cognitive Modeling and Hybrid Evolutionary Multi-Criteria Algorithms in a Multi-Agent Information-Analytical System

Vasiliy Borisovich Chechnev
368-384
Abstract:

The paper proposes an approach to multi-criteria decision support based on a cognitively oriented multi-agent information-analytical system. Cognitive modeling methods are developed, including a formal ontological representation of knowledge about production planning and a coalition–holonic agent architecture that ensures adaptability and transparency of computations. A hybrid evolutionary multi-criteria algorithm is introduced, in which agents generate alternative plans at the local level using a parallel genetic algorithm that optimizes a combination of several criteria. At the global level, a multi-stage selection of alternatives is implemented with filtering of resource overloads and similar solutions, followed by final aggregation using the PROMETHEE and ELECTRE multi-criteria decision-making methods.

An experimental study is carried out comparing manual planning with planning supported by the developed system, as well as analyzing the impact of dynamic adaptation of the genetic algorithm parameters. The results show that the use of the system makes it possible to reduce plan generation time by a factor of 20–30 while maintaining or improving solution quality. At the same time, resource overloads are completely eliminated, and early termination of evolutionary computations is ensured without loss of solution quality. The system and proposed algorithms are intended for use in planning project activities at manufacturing enterprises.

Keywords: cognitive modeling, decision support systems, multi-agent systems, genetic algorithm, information systems, multi-criteria optimization, workforce workload planning.
