534-566
Abstract: The main projects that have been implemented in the Computing Center named A.A. Dorodnitsyna of the Russian Academy of Sciences (CC RAS) for the last 20 years, that is, since 1998, are analyzed. One of the first was the implementation of the pilot project “Integrated Information Resource System (ISIR) RAS”. The successful completion of this project allowed the development of work on the integration of heterogeneous scientific information resources into the general academic scientific information system. An important stage was the project of creating the Unified Scientific Information Space (ENIP) of the RAS. This project was based on the subsystem “Scientific Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences”, created at the CC of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Center for Scientific Telecommunications (CNTK) of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Considering the importance of building digital libraries, in 2006 the Russian Academy of Sciences adopted the target scientific program “Creating the Central Bank “Scientific Heritage of Russia”, in accordance with which the digital library was implemented. The created GeoMeta Portal is a standardized and decentralized spatial information management environment designed to access geodatabases, map products and associated metadata from various sources, facilitating the exchange of spatial information between organizations and its sharing via the Internet. Currently, the main line of work is the LibMeta digital personal semantic library. The main task of this system is to provide the user with a unified view for the possibility of automated extraction of information of interest to him on a particular subject area.

Semantic library as a tool of defining a scientific subject area

Olga Muratovna Ataeva, Vladimir Alekseevich Serebriakov
988-1005
Abstract:

The paper considers an information system designed to represent a subject area related to science and its features. Highlighted general concepts for formal descriptions of such a subject area in the knowledge base of the semantic library. The peculiarity of these areas is that the data structure is subject to frequent changes. Therefore, the means of organizing knowledge, which is a semantic library, should be sufficiently universal and not require deep technical knowledge. The paper describes the functionality of the system and its use. For each area, the set of resources can differ both in format and in the set of the resources themselves. The set of concepts that form the description of the library's content should be so universal that it can be adapted to the needs of a particular area. Three levels of metadata are used to represent the data.

Keywords: semantic library, ontology, knowledge representation.

997-1014
Abstract:

This paper describes a hardware and software platform that enables automated chemical syntheses, including the preparation, heating, and mixing of reaction mixtures, as well as post-synthesis dilution sampling and sending for high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis, followed by automated processing of the results. A custom Python library, ChemBot, was developed to control individual robotic devices, and a client web server was created to manage the entire system. A web interface was created to view the system status and the progress of syntheses. The performance of the entire platform for performing experiments was tested by performing aldol condensation syntheses, where the ratio of reagents, the catalyst and its amount, the temperature and time of synthesis were varied. Writing custom code to monitor and control the entire system is an important step toward integrating the robotic system with artificial intelligence (AI), which will ultimately enable the transition to an autonomous laboratory, where target molecule prediction and synthesis, experimental execution and analysis, and, if necessary, refinement or modification of the model will be performed automatically, without the need for human intervention.

Semantic Recommendation Service for Assigning UDC Code to Mathematical Articles

Olga Avenirovna Nevzorova, Damir Albertovich Almukhametov
203-224
Abstract:

Classification of documents with the assignment of classifier codes is a traditional way of systematizing and searching for documents on a specific topic. The Universal Decimal Classification (UDC) underlies the systematization of knowledge presented in libraries, databases and other information repositories. In Russia, UDC is an obligatory attribute of all book production and information on natural and technical sciences. The choice of classification codes is associated with the analysis of the structure of the classifier tree and is traditionally decided by the author of a scientific article. This article proposes a solution for automating the assigning the UDC classification code for a mathematical article based on a special resource – the OntoMathPRO ontology for professional mathematics, developed at Kazan Federal University. An approach to solving the problem is to create "code maps" for each classifying code in the UDC tree in the field of mathematics. Under the "code map" is meant a weighted set of all extracted, with the help of OntoMathPRO ontology, mathematical named entities from the collection of articles with a given UDC code. The creation of "code maps" is based on the hypothesis that the choice of the UDC code is determined by a certain set of classifying features that can be represented by classes from the OntoMathPRO ontology. The proposed hypothesis was tested and confirmed in the paper. Alexey Olegovich Bondar, Vlada Vladimirovna Kugurakova
213-243
Abstract:

This article examines the technical challenges involved in transferring game scenes between various game engines. It analyzes the key issues arising from differences in scene formats, incompatibilities in rendering and physics APIs, as well as problems in converting materials, shaders, and animation data, and discrepancies in coordinate systems. Existing tools and methods, including automated solutions for exporting, converting, and importing data, are presented with a particular focus on migrating content from Unreal Engine to Unigine. Furthermore, the paper discusses fundamental approaches to solving the problem, such as the use of universal exchange formats (FBX, glTF, USD), the development of middleware, and the modular design of game scenes, which pave the way for future automation. The work also highlights our group’s research results on the formal description of game logic and approaches to porting VR applications across different libraries. The conclusions provide practical recommendations for developers and outline future research directions in the area of automated content transfer between game engines.
