Abstract: The software package of book supply coefficient calculation represents a monitor that reflects interrelation of printed along with electronic methodological support and principal educational programs implemented in the university. Data provided by the book supply software allows prompt planning, on-time adjusting of printed publications purchase, and forming effective subscription for electronic library databases according to relevancy of the content in a particular university’s current educational process.

The modern stage of higher education system development is related to the new educational model of specialists training based on the graduates’ competences for further professional and social activity within the conditions of rapidly socio-economic developing of modern society.

Methodological support of educational problems is not only a significant component of federal state educational standards of higher education and one of the important accreditation criteria but is a core element of the new educational model.

Abstract:

The rapid quantitative growth of scientific publications has pushed the development of various Internet tools for finding the necessary information. Statistics on its study and use (citation) are no less important than the search for the necessary information. This article discusses the citation support tools provided by Google Academy, Crossref, and other developers. In the Russian Federation, NEICON (a national consortium of Russian educational, scientific, and cultural organizations) provides technical and methodological support for working with DOI and other Crossref services. The article shows how the considered tools are built into the user interfaces of the IPM electronic library. Additional features provided by the specified tools are considered.

Abstract: The article considers the role functions of a modern teacher in general secondary education institutions, determined by the polystructural nature of pedagogical activity: subject teacher, teacher-educator, teacher-methodologist + teacher-researcher. The tasks and contents of the methodological support of the discipline for the choice of students of a pedagogical university with a degree in “Mathematics and Computer Science”, focused on the formation of their research competencies, are given.

Представлены основные результаты работ по методической поддержке создания и использования научных электронных библиотек, выполненных на базе Института развития информационного общества при поддержке РФФИ в рамках проектов 01-07-90444 и 04-07-90184, а также при поддержке РГНФ в рамках проекта 03-02-12008.
