“Technology of Guiding Questions” As a Method of Training To Solve Geometric Problems for Proof

Andrey Nikolaevich Davydov
556-565
Abstract: “Technology of leading questions” as a teaching method is considered in the article. Substantial features of learning technology are disclosed. Pedagogical approaches to learning technology are considered. The components of learning technology as elements of the content structure are considered. The concepts: “leading question” and “technology leading questions” are defined. An example of the application of “technology leading questions” is proposed. The relevance of learning technology for the formation of skills to solve geometric problems on the proof is explained.
Keywords: geometry, methods of teaching geometry, proof, learning technology, leading question, technology leading questions.

Teaching Mathematical Disciplines Using the Mirera Digital Educational Platform

Alexander Georgievich Leonov
312-323
Abstract:

The article describes the experience of digital transformation of mathematical disciplines based on author's digital educational platform Mirera. The Mirera DEP is optimized for the Russian system of organization of higher education, focused on the development and delivery of courses that combine online and offline technologies for conducting the educational process. The Mirera DEP provides course authors with tools for developing computerized courses with automated verification of the correctness and independence of current and control tasks performed by students using artificial intelligence methods. Various original types of tests are built into the platform, supporting both in the description of tasks and in answer options, content in various formats, including TeX, sequences of elements (for automated testing of student knowledge of the structure of proof of course theorems or schemes for solving typical problems), semantic analysis of text responses, etc.

Keywords: adaptive learning, DEP Mirera, digital educational platform, programming, web applications.

Comparison of Client-Server Solutions in the Development of Massively Multiplayer Online Games on Unity

Abstract:

This paper presents a critique of the traditional approach used to create a multiplayer game in the Unity real-time interactive application development system, especially in the case of a large number of concurrent users. As a hypothesis, an alternative option, which is not common, but which solves many of the problems of the previous approach, is proposed. Two client-server solutions have been compared for developing multiplayer online games in Unity, and the advantages of both approaches have been described for different cases. A game development architecture using a more up-to-date method is proposed: instead of the Mirror library, a standard toolkit for Unity development, microservices written in Golang are used. We present solid proofs of the preference of the alternative approach, the main advantage of which is the support of modern architecture providing high-speed communication between microservices, supported tests on messaging on different platforms.

The test results confirm the hypothesis put forth, and we can conclude that the Unity bundle with Golang is more effective for multiplayer video games.

The article also contains basic methods for debugging multi-threaded application in Golang bundled with Unity game development system and suggests a technological method that allows to get a fast way of data transfer between the client and the server.

Application of Credit Risk Scoring Methods in Corporate Borrower Monitoring

Olga Andreevna Tazenkova
689-709
Abstract:

A method for assessing the risk of default of a corporate borrower at the monitoring stage based on a scoring assessment is proposed. This paper provides proof of the hypothesis that scoring methods for assessing credit risks can be used not only at the stage of initial assessment of a potential borrower when making a decision on lending, but also at the stage of its monitoring when accompanying a transaction. Monitoring is a periodic review of the credit quality of the corporate borrower with whom the loan agreement is concluded. This is done for the purpose of timely detection of negative signals, as well as timely response to threatening trends in the borrower's activities.

Some credit institutions save on monitoring by relying on the decision-making system, considering it flawless. However, this saving can be a fatal mistake, since many things change over time during the "life" of the enterprise. This is facilitated by both external factors (political, economic) and internal (incorrect development strategy of the organization, inability to assess its own credit capabilities, unscrupulous counterparties).

The proposed method is a system of automatic risk signals that have been tested for predictive ability, excluding manual procedures. The proposed solution includes markers (risk signals) that have a predictive ability above average, which can lead to a default of the corporate borrower. In addition, color marking is applied – red, yellow, green, which allows you to visualize the criticality of the identified risk signal depending on the predictive ability - a visual representation of the borrower's risks in order to facilitate interpretation.

The analysis of the developed method showed how much it is possible to speed up the monitoring process, which will allow for a prompt response to the identified risk signals, as well as to predict the likely deterioration of the borrower's credit quality in the loan or guarantee portfolio without compromising the quality of risk assessment.

Refal on Server Side

Alexander Gusev
697-707
Abstract: This work is devoted to the description of the project of updating the technology of algorithmic language application created in the USSR in the 60s of the XX century by V. F. Turchin. The language was originally intended for various logical transformations primarily of text material. In practice, the scope was wider: machine translation, optimization and compilation of programs, proof of theorems, modeling of complex electronic circuits, solving a number of problems of artificial intelligence. The language now has a sufficient number of followers, mainly in scientific circles. The objective of the described project is to create a product that allows the use of Refal in modern mass applications and to expand the range of its potential users to the entire Internet. A survey of the community of users and developers of Refal was conducted in order to get an idea of the current state of Affairs, current implementations and ways of language development. Possible means of project implementation were considered. No information was received on similar developments under way.
Keywords: Refal, server-side computing, text processing, xml processing, artificial intelligence, meta-calculations.
